Rare Antique R. Bliss Keyhole Dollhouse Façade Lithographed Wood 14.5”
Rare antique R. Bliss “Keyhole” dollhouse façade, one of the company’s more desirable and sought-after house designs. This wonderfully decorative façade retains its beautifully detailed original lithographed exterior and measures approximately 14 1/2 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide.
Please note that this listing is for the front façade only—not the complete dollhouse. It offers a wonderful opportunity to display small antique dolls against the authentic façade of a rare Bliss Keyhole House at a much more accessible price than a complete example. It is also considerably easier to display!
The façade is in better condition than many surviving Bliss houses, although it has the typical age-related warping found in these lithographed wooden toys after well over a century. One window retains its decorative panel or insert; the corresponding piece from the other window is no longer present. Other age-related wear is visible, so please examine all photographs closely as they are an important part of the description.
