Rare Early Griswold VICTOR No 9 Cast Iron Skillet Heat Ring 1st Series Sits Flat For Sale

Antique Griswold VICTOR No. 9 cast iron skillet with heat ring. The markings are hard to see through all the years of seasoning and cooking residue on the bottom as shown. The number 9 has a faint A next to it. I believe it is one of the earlier Victor skillets, 1st series? made between 1886-1892. Excellent original as found vintage condition. No cracks chips or repairs. The skillet sits flat, no wobble, no spin. Cooking surface is smooth. There is a lot of buildup of cooking residue from decades of use. You will no doubt want to give it a fresh cleaning and season.Most of the items we sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition, no returns.
