This handmade shrine cover is inspired by the legacy of Imam Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani (RA), the renowned Islamic scholar, Sufi master, and founder of the Qadiriyya order. Carefully crafted in our workshop using traditional embroidery techniques, it reflects the beauty of classical Islamic textile art.
The design features elegant Arabic calligraphy, including:
يا الله يا رسول الله
“O Allah, O Messenger of Allah.”
It also bears inscriptions traditionally attributed to Imam Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani:
أنا الجيلي محي الدين لقبي وأعلامي على رأس الجبال
“I am Al-Jili; Muhy al-Din is my title, and my banners stand upon the mountaintops.”
أنا الحسني وأقدامي على عنق الرجال
“I am of the Hasanid lineage, and my feet are upon the necks of men.”
