I am offering for sale a large antique brass and copper box with a 3-dimensional scene showing the famous oil painting by Francois Pascal Simon Gerard. The scene depicts French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte receiving captured Russian flags at theBattle of Austerlitz on December 2, 1805. The original painting resides in the Gallery of Battle at the Palace of Versailles in France. It is in excellent condition with age appropriate wear and patina. It measures 8 7/8 inches by 6 3/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches high.
