Rare Native Gold var. Electrum, Acanthite & Pearceite Ophir Mine Comstock Nevada For Sale

Here up for grabs is a beautifully banded epithermal silver-gold ore from the famous Comstock Lode in Storey county. The specimen shows that beautiful banding of the silver and gold minerals in a quartz matrix. The dark bands consist of galena and sphalerite with the exteriors enriched with acanthite and pearceite. The silver ore extends all the way through to the other side of the specimen! There are also a few small specks of native gold var. electrum near the top of the specimen in the area of photos 4 & 5. The bottom of the specimen displays some host rock as well as some host rock that was incorporated in between the 2 primary layers of silver minerals.
