Rare Philodendron Micans 36\" Tall Aroid Not Anthurium Monstera Syngonium For Sale

Philodendron micans (also called the Velvet-Leaf Philodendron) is a popular tropical vining houseplant known for its soft, iridescent, heart-shaped dark colorful leaves.

Key Characteristics

• Foliage: Leaves are a shimmering mix of dark green, bronze, and rusty-brown or burgundy tones with reddish undersides. New leaves emerge in a warm dark orange before fading to green.

There are a few very well established plants in a 4.5\" hanging basket with split vines  pushing out lots of new leaves.  She stands at 36\" long.   largest leaf measures 4.25\"  long (not including the petioles) with a couple of  nodes and aerial roots. Usually offered as a cutting or a smaller size plant that cost so much more and is not readily available here in the US. Place in a bright room away from direct sunlight, pot in an aroid mix and water when the top inch or 2 of soil feels dry. Please take a look at the images as it is the exact plant you will receive.
