Rare S. D. Myres Vintage Police Belt Holster.Circa 1940s-1950s. This is one of the finest S D Myres Holster we havemarketed. Unlined, Closed muzzle, 2-inch belt slot with snap closures, Forwardcant, Right Hand Draw. The Holster-Fits Smith & Wesson K Frame Revolver orclones with a four-inch barrel. Holster stamped “S.D. MYRES EL PASO, TEX” onthe reverse side. Very well constructed. Black Shining Leather Color. Made InTexas. Security snap strap. Minimal weathering on the holster with overallcondition excellent. The world-famous SD Myres Saddle Companyoperated from 1898 to 1969 out of both Sweetwater (early) and El Paso (later)Texas. Samuel Dale Myres, moved his saddlery from Sweetwater, Texas, to El Pasoin 1920, he was the real deal. The company kept going and finally folded in1969.
