Rare handmade original vintage 1951 pamphlet book made by Helen Burns.
Made a year before she printed Salton Sea Story...
This appears to be her homemade copy before she added content and went to Desert Magazine Press in 1952.
Notice the photo is the uncoppped exact photo used in her 1952 Salton Sea Story (reprinted at least 6x)
This has some of the same content she later printed in Salton Sea Story.
Hand made in what I can only assume is very limited numbers.I could not find any sales history on this book. I could for other printings of her later book.Rare chance to own a copy of Salton Sea California Beach history.Appx. 6\" x 9\" with around 20 pages
Was found in the enclosed envelope, unsure if original.
Writing on pencil on the envelope including a price of .85
Original photo for cover (Polaroid?) with scratches and wear.
