Rare Vintage Vincent Bach Trombone Stradivarius Model 6 New York Jazz Era w Case For Sale

This Jazz Band Trombone has a 7 ½” Bell made with a Vincent Bach 415 mandrel. Serial number 410 was located on the handslide, and this points to a production date around 1935 at the Bronx, New York Factory. The bell section has the Vincent Bach Corporation New York imprint, that places it in the late 1940s - 1950s New York/Bronx era. The Trombone is composed of genuine original New York-era Vincent Bach parts. It was common for players during that era to have an older slide paired with a newer bell directly through custom shop adjustments at the New York workshop. An old probably original Bach 12C Mouthpiece was found in the case. I am offering it as a dual component all New York Jazz Era horn. The trombone is in used condition with losses to the lacquer and silver plate. There are two dents on the body, a crease in the bell, and scuffs. One brace is not attached but stays in place (see Photos). It is sturdy and the slide moves smoothly. The original case is included, and it shows heavy wear with make-do repairs.
