Authentic 1960\'s mid-century formal evening gown from the highly collectible Pab/Pab Ltd. label, featuring a design by Preston Smith. During the 1960\'s and 70\'s, Pab garments were high-end boutique pieces sold exclusively at luxury department stores like Lord & Taylor, Bergdorf Goodman, and Bonwit Teller. This is an incredible find for vintage fashion collectors or anyone wanting a show-stopping look for a gala, prom, or special event.

Provenance: Includes the rare, original vintage manufacturer paper production/order tag underneath the satin Pab script label (Order No. 5876)

Floor-length column/sheath silhouette that beautifully catches the light.
Embellishments: Hand-applied heavy gold and silver metallic sequins arranged in a striking diagonal lattice/diamond pattern
Neckline: Dramatic high mock-neck collar meticulously trimmed with a dense, dangling fringe of gold and glass seed beads.
Closure: Original back zipper with an upper hook-and-eye vintage condition. The sequins and beadwork are beautifully intact, heavy, and vibrant. Zip works smoothly.
