hard to find Original WWII-era belted denim work coat by Lee, produced under the Lee Union-Alls line and dating to the early–mid 1940s. This coat is union made and Sanforized, featuring heavy indigo denim, large patch pockets, spread collar, original self-fabric belt, and correct Lee Union-Alls donut buttons. Belted shop coats like this were worn by mechanics, railroad workers, and industrial supervisors during wartime production.
This example shows authentic period shop wear, including oil and grease staining, fading, few holes consistent with decades of industrial use. The coat has not been restored, preserving its originality and collector value. Finding a WWII Lee Union-Alls coat with the original belt intact is increasingly rare, making this an excellent piece for advanced workwear collectors, archival display, or careful wear
