Textured red roses in a clay pot is a one-of-a-kind handmade painting. I used gouache, acrylic and acrylic paste to create the impasto effect on the roses. The canvas is stretched over wood and rests inside a solid wood frame that is painted a midnight navy blue. The canvas measures 10 x 10 inches, plus the frame increases it to 12 x 12 inches.
