Here is a beautiful small Rookwood Pottery matte vellum vase possibly decorated by Harriet Wilcox. It has a painted design of columbine flowers in blue with green stems and leaves against a shaded creamy white to pale green background. It measures about 6 inches tall and 2 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, V for 1905, shape number918E, V for vellum and faint initials for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, and only the typical crazing. A fine piece of arts & crafts, art nouveau Rookwood vellum.
