KO-2 PATRIOT COAT OF ARMS OF RUSSIA
KO-2 in a SPECIAL PATRIOT military version with a depiction of the Double-Headed Eagle - the Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation.
The double-headed eagle has been used as the national coat of arms since 1497 and in principle represents the family coat of arms of the last imperial dynasty of the Byzantine Empire.
The two-headed eagle is a symbol of unity - the eagle looks at two different sides, which symbolizes Europe and Asia and their unification into one whole. The shield of the eagle depicts a rider – a symbol of the Christian faith, St. George the Dragon Slayer, who is the patron saint of soldiers.
The KO-2 is the successor of the KO-1 model line, which was originally developed specifically for the Russian Armed Forces, especially for special forces that operated in Chechnya during the First War. The shape of the knife is based on the kinjal hunting dagger. The blade is sharpened on both sides.
This knife is included in the category of cold weapons. Kizlyar knives, which are classified as cold weapons, always have their own identification number stamped on the back of the blades.
