An antique Japanese Satsuma vase dating fromthe late nineteenth century.
Hexagonal in shape with each panel handdecorated in a theme of seasons of traditional Japanese flowers: Wisteria,Chrysanthemum and other flowers unique on each panel. The top part of the vase has the traditionalSatsuma nishi and in orange goldcolours.
Marked on bottom in Japanese character marks;CPO is the mark for Central Purchasing Office and made to be sold in American exchanges during the early occupation of Japan after WWII. possiblyKinkozan
