Yellow illustrated dust jacket of a bearded prospector with rifle and pack animals. Period newspaper pages are present: The Gold Dust Gazette (Apache Junction, October 12, 1962) and The Arizona Republic (October 3, 1962), covering De Grazia's Superstition expedition.
Condition:
Book is very good. Cloth is clean, gilt design is intact, and the binding is solid. Plates look bright. Light foxing and age toning on the page edges. Dust jacket is good, with edge rubbing, corner chips, creasing, and small tears. Jacket is complete. Inscription is bold. See photos.
