Here is a vintage Schlage E Series entry function entry set. These entry sets are no longer available from Schlage and are reputably one of the best front door entry sets produced by Schlage. The styling could also be called Moorish mimicking the art deco era.
This handle set is used, just removed and functions fine. All the parts, screws that held the entry set to my door are included. I found this listed in new condition on ($1250 and $1450) and there are some pics included of the installation instructions, door and jamb required holes as seen in the attached pics as I do not have the original paperwork. The door must have a special oval hole in order for these units to work properly, essentially 3 1.75\" holes, overlapping on center. The lock cylinder will come with 4 keys. See pic.
For doors with thickness of 1 1/2\'\' to 1 13/16\'\'.
Lock function: unlocked by key from outside if inside turn button is set to lock. If inside turn button is unlocked then entry is by outside thumb piece and no key required.
I removed this because I needed to install an ugly digital lock for my airbnb. Oh well.
