WHY KINETIC?
Developed by Seiko in the late 1980s, Kinetic technology turns wrist movement into electrical energy. A rotor drives a miniature generator, storing energy in a rechargeable cell commonly called the capacitor.
On this model, the generating rotor is visible through the exhibition case back, and the button at two o’clock activates the power-reserve indicator.
SERVICE AND OPERATION
A new rechargeable capacitor has been installed. The watch is charging and running.
CONDITION
The titanium case and bezel show scratches, scuffs, and visible finish wear. The bracelet and clasp also show scratches from use, with some wear to the gold-tone accents. The cream dial is clean, the crystal presents clearly, and the full-LumiBrite dial glows brightly. The fitted bracelet accommodates a wrist just over 8 inches.
The hinged Seiko presentation box is in excellent condition. The outer carton has some corner wear. The kit includes the instruction booklet, warranty booklet, and blank warranty card.

The case back’s water-resistance marking describes the watch’s specification when new. This vintage watch has not been pressure-tested; best practice is not to intentionally expose it to water.
