Selling my excellent condition Selmer Paris Q series wooden professional bass clarinet. It has a beautiful warm sound and plays great top to bottom with a lovely dark tone and great response. This horn plays as good as it looks, was recently serviced by my technician (full COA service, dissassembly with wood oiled inside and out) and is ready to play!
Matching serial number Q7658. Keywork shines brightly and is free of plating wear. Wood is in fantastic shape but does have a few very minor surface imperfections and scratches as is expected with age. Comes with floor peg setup. Range to low E. This horn does have a few repaired cracks that are hardly noticeable, has been issue free for years, and don\'t affect playability in any way. Case is in fair condition but the spring on the right latch doesn\'t work which just means lifting up the latch with your finger instead of it springing open. The neck is not a perfect fit in the cutout compartment due to the different contour of the modern upgraded neck, I find it is still held in very safely though. No mouthpiece included, but I have several available for an additional price.
