The group includes two substantial turned bone-handled brushes with finely incised Chinese figural and landscape decoration, one unusual segmented red and cream bone-handled brush, and one slender bamboo-handled brush with Chinese characters and decorative markings.
All four retain their original natural-hair brush heads and display beautifully as a collection of traditional Chinese scholar’s objects.
