A set of 6 vintage Nasco Del Coronado French Onion Soup Bowls with lids features a charming vegetable motif in a green color. Made of ceramic with a glossy finish, these round soup bowls have a diameter of 4 5/8 inches and a depth of 2 inches or 3 inches with lids. The set includes a total of twelve pieces, with each bowl hand-painted and marked with a sticker backstamp, except for one. Perfect for serving soup in style, these mid-century modern bowls are a must-have for collectors of decorative cookware.
Each bowl features a different vegetable \"handle\" on its lid. There is a mushroom, pea pod, tomato, radish, celery and onion. The designs on the lids are slightly raised cucumbers, parsnips and tomatoes.
Set is in new condition with no signs of use. The original Nasco Del Coronado Japan foil sticker is still on the bottom of all but one. There are a couple of tiny fleabites. One on the underside of a lid and the other on the pea pod.
