Dating back to 1820-1835 this antique telescope by Carpenter London is in wonderful condition. Brass with wooden barrel. There are scratches on the wood barrel which are normal for its age. Great optics. 3 drawer. No dents. Beautiful example by maker: Carpenter. Renowned optician in the early 19th century and instrument maker, established in the prestigious Regent Street area of London.
