Trimmed sixth plate occupational tintype of a bason or bricklayer posedin a building. He holds a trowel in one hand and a brick in the other. There isa wall behind him and what looks to be a linoleum type patterned design on thefloor beneath him. His coat is buttoned at the top and open and a cap of somesort. Possibly European, but unknown. 1880-90s. Trimmed to 1 7/8” x 3 ¼”. Cutcorners. Adhered to a cream color modern paper. See images.
