Presented is a 27-by-40-inch poster for 1980's Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back that has been signed by ten vital members of the film's cast and crew. Signatures included on this stunning item include Harrison Ford (who portrayed Han Solo), Mark Hamill (who portrayed Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (who portrayed Princess Leia Organa), Anthony Daniels (who portrayed C-3PO), Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), David Prowse (who portrayed the physical form of Darth Vader, with James Earl Jones providing the voice), Billy Dee Williams (who portrayed Lando Calrissian), Jeremy Bulloch (who portrayed Boba Fett) and Irvin Kershner, the film's director. Sadly, Fisher (d. 2016), Baker (d. 2016), Prowse (d. 2020), Mayhew (d. 2019), Bulloch (d. 2020), and Kershner (d. 2010) have since passed away. The Empire Strikes Back is considered a cinematic masterpiece, a perfect Greek tragedy, and the greatest film in the series. It was released theatrically in May 1980, grossing $401.5 million worldwide during its original run. The film featured one of the most surprising plot twists in cinema, which is still discussed to this day, and afforded greater visibility to the feared bounty hunter, Boba Fett.
