Beautiful vintage silver Navajo necklace. Sandcast naja pendant with fleur-de-lis terminals, suspended from handcrafted fluted bench beads and silver pearls. The beads are strung on a traditional sterling silver chain, and handcrafted hook & eye clasp.The pendant’s graceful crescent and fleur-de-lis-style terminals & center give this piece beautiful presence. Bright silver catches the light, while softly muted patina highlights its dimensional details & vintage. A small suspension loop at the tip of the central motif may once have held a decorative drop. No drop is present. Its history is unknown & the loop is left as is. The Naja is associated with protection against harm and remains a recognizable design in Southwestern jewelry.
