Book appears to be a first edition however I can\'t be certain. Publisher (Bobbs-Merrill) with books before 1928 had a bow & cross at bottom of page on first printings, but not always. Books after 1928 had First Edition stated, but not always. I can\'t be certain but I think this book didn\'t go to a lot of printings. This book appealed to a niche market even when it first came out. That number can only be smaller now. In any case it\'s a book you probably haven\'t read and may not see again.
Jacket has \"stains\" on front, you should be able to see this in the photo. Chipped and torn in spots, it has small pieces gone. Name written on front end page. Two more names on the next page. No other marks inside that I\'m seeing. Top page edges have 3 \"indentations that did not damage pages when open. I\'ve tried to show this in the photo but it\'s odd since it doesn\'t appear to affect the tops of pages? NOT a ex-library copy. Despite all this book looks nice and doesn\'t betray its age. 8/28/24
