Custom TI-84 Plus AI Calculator with Integrated Camera & WiFi

This modified TI-84 Plus includes a professionally integrated camera system inside the original calculator shell while fully retaining standard TI-84 calculator functionality.

The calculator still operates like a normal TI-84 for graphing, equations, and everyday coursework, while also supporting built-in AI-assisted features over WiFi.

AI Features:

• Capture worksheets, textbook problems, equations, graphs, and diagrams using the integrated camera

• Sends images securely over WiFi to GPT-4 Vision for image analysis and GPT-5 for text-based interactions.

• Displays AI-generated responses directly on the calculator screen within seconds

• Automatically detects boxed, circled, highlighted, or marked problems on crowded worksheets

Included Programs:

• prgmAI — Launches the AI camera and processing system

• prgmSET — Allows WiFi configuration directly from the calculator keypad without a computer

• prgmTXT — Allows text-based questions to be submitted and answered

• prgmNET — Confirms internet connectivity

• prgmGAME — Enters game menu with 10 playable games such as Minesweeper, Wordle, Battleship, etc.

Manual Mode: Allows you to send questions to a host, who can respond back to you.

System Features:

• Connects to standard 2.4GHz WiFi networks & Hotspots

• Includes browser-based settings dashboard accessible from a phone or laptop on the same network

• Dashboard allows API key management, WiFi setup, and system configuration

•RAM Reset Protection — Includes a recovery utility that can quickly restore required programs if calculator memory is cleared.

(RAM is intentionally cleared when the batteries are removed so the calculator appears as a standard TI-84. Required programs can be restored with a single command run directly on the calculator.)

• Optimized firmware for responsive operation and stable connectivity

Power:

• Powered by AAA Nickel-Metal Hydride Batteries (NiMH), an example would be Eneloop batteries.
