The Army & Navy of the United States 1891 George Barrie Limited Deluxe Edition:
$295.00
The Army & Navy of the United States 1891 George Barrie Limited Deluxe Edition. Edition De Luxe #255 published by George Barrie 1891. Some sections are thicker than others. Lots of great color lithographs. The portfolios measure 13\" x 19\". 6 portfolios of large loose pages - this is how these were constructed. Parts 1 through 6. Has some normal age wear to the edges. Pages are otherwise fine clean. See my 12 photos. This set has 6 parts as shown, not certain if this is a complete set in and of itself or part of a larger set. The portfolios are marked part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5 and part 6. I did not inventory the prints but there are many magnificent color engravings.
The Illustrated History of THE ARMY AND NAVY OF THE UNITED STATES from the Period of the Revolution to the Present Day. 1776-1898.Printed on Japan vellum throughout. Illustrated with wonderful monochrome photogravure engravings and plates.
