Scarce double-vinyl edition of For the Birds by Irish indie rock band The Frames, led by Glen Hansard.
Originally released in 2001, For the Birds became one of the band's defining albums, blending atmospheric indie rock, folk and emotionally driven songwriting. This vinyl edition was issued by Overcoat Recordings as a 2×12" LP set.
Recording credits include Steve Albini, Craig Ward and David Odlum, with sessions taking place in part at Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago.
