They were preferred for publication because of the film's higher contrast and resolution, the colours are more vibrant with a finer grain and better resolution and sharpness compared to traditional negative films. Purchased in a huge lot from the archive of a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1982.

Condition Explained We Describe Every Fault As Honestly As Possible
We offer a huge variety of items and grading can be very subjective, we describe the condition as accurately as possible and take photos which form part of the description. A plus or a minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
Mint: Item is in the same condition as the day it was made.
Near Mint: Item is in "never-used" condition and has been carefully preserved since it was produced. The item should appear to be in superb, nearly perfect condition.
Very Good: A well cared-for item that shows minor condition issues around the borders, such as pinholes, small creases, soft corners, or light discoloration.
Good: Item shows visible wear from handling, such as creases and small tears. It is physically worn, but is still considered collectible.
Acceptable: Item is fairly worn, showing significant aesthetic issues. Contains notable flaws and is possibly missing pieces.
