• ​Front & Back:Visually striking with vibrant colors and a sharp rear portrait of LBJ. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, showing the original $15.00 retail price on the front flap. Shows light, even age-toning to the white areas and faint surface scuffing on the teal background visible under direct light

• ​Edges & Corners:Shows light edge crinkling/creasing along the top edge of the spine. There is minor chipping and small tears at the corner tips (a tiny speck of the red cloth cover underneath is exposed at the top right corner tip). The jacket is structurally whole with NO major paper loss or large tears.

• Reverse Side Note: The raw white paper on the inside of the jacket shows some green/blue ink transfer from where it rested against the book\'s colored spine block and front cover over the last 50+ years. This is completely hidden when the jacket is on the book but is noted for accuracy.

The Signature & Interior:

• ​Signature: Bold, crisp, and beautifully preserved under the gold Presidential crest with zero personalized inscriptions.

• ​Pages: The text block is exceptionally clean and tight. Pages are bright white and crisp, with no foxing, highlights, writing, or corner folds.

• ​Photo Inserts: The black-and-white historical photograph sections are bright, sharp, and well preserved.

​The Cloth Boards & Spine:

• ​Structure: The red cloth binding is tight, square, and structurally solid. Corners and spine caps show virtually no bumping or fraying.

• ​Stamping Note: The stamped black spine text and front cover facsimile signature box show typical, light handling-rubbing over the smooth blue panels. This is a very common production trait for this specific title, but all text and the front cover stamp remain legible.
