This is a universal-style replacement that requires a 38mm mounting hole in the cistern lid, together with a compatible dual flush valve (flush mechanism) inside the tank. It will not suit every toilet. Before ordering, please measure the hole in your cistern lid, check whether your toilet uses a dual flush valve and check the length of your existing rod. If you are unsure, send us a message on with a photo of your existing button and cistern, and we will gladly help.

How to Install

1. Unscrew and remove the old push button and rod from the flush valve.
2. Measure and adjust the new rod to the correct length if needed, so the valve operates properly without staying pressed down.
3. Fit the new button through the lid hole and secure it in place.
4. Refit the lid, test both flush options and adjust if necessary.
