Two antique corkscrews with a mahogany display base. One corkscrew is Victorian (early to mid 1800’s) with a very finely turned exotic wood handle and has its original brush and hanging ring. The other corkscrew is French, well crafted from the 1800’s and made of bone. These were purchased by a corkscrew collector acquaintance many years ago along with the mahogany stand from the Peabody Museum in Massachusetts. I was told it was part of a decommissioned display. The base has numbers on the bottom but I have no further information. With the mahogany stand, the display stands 6.5 inches tall. A very nice small antique table display and conversation piece!
