DESCRIPTION: An unusual cover with a multiple of three US# 63\'s in a scarce formation which is referred to as an \"irregular block of 3\". There is a light, but discernible, Black\'s Mills, NJ manuscript postmark which is a discontinued post office from the past. The stamps themselves were also hand cancelled in pen. The cover is addressed to Danbury, Connecticut. We note for accuracy that a tiny portionat the upper part of the top stamp was folded over and is adhered to the reverse. A part of the back flap is missing. Quite an exceptional cover from the 1860s in my opinion.See scan(s) for additional details.
