Included are the classic Trans-Pacific Airmail issues:
- Scott C20 - 1935 25¢ blue China Clipper
- Scott C21 - 1937 20¢ green China Clipper
- Scott C22 - 1937 50¢ carmine China Clipper
- Plate blocks of 6 with attached selvage and plate markings as pictured
These stamps were issued during the expansion of U.S. trans-Pacific airmail service and feature the famous China Clipper flying boat. C20 was issued for the original 1935 trans-Pacific route, while C21 and C22 followed as service expanded farther into Asia.
The stamps come from a large estate collection that has been stored for many years.
Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition of the stamps, plate blocks, selvage, plate numbers, centering, perforations, gum/backing and overall appearance.
The stamps are listed as Mint Never Hinged / MNH, but they have not been professionally graded, certified or expertized. Scott catalog numbers are believed to be accurate.
A strong group for collectors of U.S. airmail stamps, China Clipper issues, Scott C20-C22, plate blocks, aviation stamps, Trans-Pacific postal history and prewar U.S. postage.
