Veteran of more than 30 years of U.S. Army service, primarily with the 11th Special Forces Group (Airborne) during the Cold War. This item was acquired directly from his estate. While specific service use cannot be verified, it is part of his documented military collection.
Originally designed for field, vehicle, and aircraft communications, this configuration allowed operators to strap the key to their leg for hands-free operation. These are popular with military collectors, CW operators, and ham radio enthusiasts.
