This was the pinnacle of mid-70s interactive track design, featuring the famous \"floor shifter\" speed controllers.CONDITION & COMPONENT VERIFICATION:SHIFTER MECHANISM: Tested and Fully Functional. Both shifter levers have a strong mechanical \"click\" and move freely. This is the hardest part of the set to find in working order.THE BOX: Includes the original 1974 box. While it shows shelf wear and age, the legendary \"Flying Colors\" box art remains vibrant—perfect for a backdrop in a diecast display.Some tracks have cracks.
