Up for sale is an authentic, hand carved mid century modern animal sculpture (Dachshund) and letter opener by noted Danish artist Knud Albert. Features a whimsical, biomorphic dog design carved from rich teak wood. Fully authenticated by the original hot-stamp signature on the base: 'Handmade in Denmark by Knud Albert'. Excellent vintage condition with beautiful wood grain patterning and no major cracks with no repairs or alterations to the finish including waxes or oils. Measures approximately 13.5 inches.
