VTG General Electric Model 3-5219A Radio/Cassette Recorder Tested - Partly Works so either plan to get used to its quirks, fix it or use it for parts.
I am giving you the good and the bad so someone who expects a 43 year old portable electronic to work like brand new and no effort won't buy.Released by GE in 1983
ProsBoth AM and FM radio worksTape play back worksTape recording worksBand dial works wellThe battery compartment is clean, no corrosion
ConsThe band selector is touchy and doesnt easily go into AM or FM mode without barely moving. Cleaning may help. The volume dial has static while you are adjusting it but you can get it to stop with a little effort. Again so cleaning may help.I dont know if Direct on air recording works or not.It is missing the power cord but was tested on batteries.
