HISTORICAL NOTE about CANTINFLAS:MarioAlfonso Moreno Reyes (12 August 1911 – 20 April 1993), known by the stage name Cantinflas, was a Mexican comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He is consideredto have been the most popular Mexican comedian of all times and achieved hugeinternational fame. He oftenportrayed impoverished farmers or peasants. The character allowed Cantinflas toestablish a long, successful film career that included a foray into Hollywood.Charlie Chaplin once commented that he was the best comedian alive, and Cantinflashas been referred to as the \"Charlie Chaplin of Mexico\"There is a hole provided for hanging on the wall.

The rare piece is in good vintage condition; there are some superficial imperfections on the surface; the back is covered with zinc to avoid rusting which is still present.
