Vintage Handmade Primitive Folk Art Wooden Train Locomotive – 14” Heavy Rolling Toy
Unique vintage handmade primitive folk-art wooden train locomotive with a wonderfully rustic, handcrafted appearance. This is a substantial, heavy wooden toy/display piece with a distinctive dark green and black painted finish and four pairs of rolling wheels.
The locomotive has a simple, imaginative construction with a long body, raised cab/boiler section, three round details along the top, and a wide base. The construction and finish strongly suggest a one-of-a-kind handmade folk-art piece rather than a commercially manufactured toy.

Condition
Vintage/antique-style primitive condition with extensive authentic age/use wear. The paint has considerable chipping, scuffing, scratches, edge wear and areas of exposed wood throughout. There is additional wear around the wheels, corners, edges and raised components. Some paint loss and surface imperfections are particularly noticeable on the ends and top.
The condition is part of the appeal of this unusual handmade piece and gives it a great aged, time-worn folk-art character. Please examine all photos carefully, as the pictures are an important part of the condition description.
