VTG Mid-Century (1930s-1950s) Embroidered Quilt Prairie Point Edge Hand Quilted 64x78 EXCELLENT!This is a lovely handmade and hand-quilted quilt. Its condition is amazing - especially considering its age.The fabric and construction is consistent with quilts from the 1930s to 1950s.FabricThe pink, blue, and white fabric is sateen, a vintage cotton frequently used in this era. It has a shine and extra soft feel.The Block Pattern
This specific motif features a four-way arrangement offloral bouquets or baskets,surrounded by delicate running-stitch borders.

Sashing and Cornerstones: The blocks are joined by a pink fabricsashinggrid, accented by contrasting bluecornerstones(the squares where the sashing intersects).

Igently laundered the quilt and let it air dry. I did not try and remove the spots on the back because I didn’t notice them until taking pictures. (I can recommend an antique linen soaking powder or send some with the quilt if you’re interested in trying).
