Spectacular, rare nativity set of 20 pieces, figures and animals handmade by The Sisters of Saint Joseph in Albany, NY the 1960s. Size varies but the largest piece are camels which are about 8 1/2 inches tall
It is handmade of Holland mold bisque ware ceramic and includes Holy Family Mary, Joseph, Christ Child in Manger, three kings, three camels, two kneeling angels, and one hanging angel, one donkey, one cow, three sheep, two shepherds.
Items that show damage: donkey has one ear broken off, one lamb has one ear broken off and is missing, second lamb has ear broken and is repaired. One angel has both wings that have broken and been repaired (poorly, could be repaired better) and one king has a tiny chip in back of crown, but it’s not that noticeable
