Beautiful vintage ceramic planter/cachepot featuring raised grape clusters, green leaves and winding vines against a textured brick/trellis background. The square form is framed with molded faux-bamboo details and finished in glossy shades of green, tan, brown and deep purple.
The decoration continues around all four sides, with different grapevine details on each side. Interior is finished in a deep green glaze.
Measures approximately 4” tall × 3.5” wide, with an approximately 2.75” square interior opening.
The underside is unglazed reddish-brown earthenware and has “45” incised into the bottom. No maker or country-of-origin mark is visible. The number may be a production, mold or decorator number rather than a model number.
Appears to be mid-century vintage pottery, likely circa 1950s–1960s. The colorful raised decoration has a majolica-style appearance. Maker and country of origin are unknown.
