This bridge rectifier was originally developed by the workshop as its own project. After trying it in an audio power supply, I was impressed by its refined presentation, excellent detail retrieval, and the ease with which the improvement could be heard. I therefore purchased a small quantity to share with Valab supporters.
Why Schottky Rectification?
The module uses selected Diotec Semiconductor MBR20200-series Schottky rectifiers. Compared with a conventional silicon bridge, Schottky devices offer a lower forward-voltage drop and do not exhibit the conventional reverse-recovery behavior that can generate switching noise in a power supply.
In a carefully built audio system, a quieter and more efficient rectification stage can contribute to a cleaner background, finer low-level information, and a more natural sense of texture. In my own listening, the change was not subtle: resolution improved while the sound remained delicate and unforced.

This module is especially suitable for upgrading the main power supply of a power amplifier, integrated amplifier, active speaker, headphone amplifier, or other audio equipment operating within its voltage and current limits.
The low-loss rectifiers operate efficiently, and in normal use the module shows very little temperature rise. The added heat sink provides further thermal margin for sustained high-power operation.

Always verify the markings on the PCB before wiring. Installation should be carried out by a qualified person with the equipment fully disconnected from mains power.
