Veritas Mk.II Honing SystemThis honing system guides chisels and plane blades to precise bevel angles for consistent, accurate sharpening. The registration jig slides onto the guide body, centering and aligning the blade using an integral fence, eliminating the need to square the blade separately. Three bevel angle ranges are available: a high angle configuration from 25° to 54°, a standard range from 15° to 40°, and a third configuration for back bevels. The clamping mechanism accommodates flat and tapered blades as well as those with irregular geometry. A three-position eccentric roller enables quick and accurate micro-bevel honing with a simple knob turn, and the 50mm wide roller provides stability for narrow blades.
