Vintage heavy cast brass decorative plaque marked BELGIQUE 1945 / 21.
The raised relief design features a woman in profile overlooking a maritime scene with sailing ships, netting, waves and fish-inspired detailing around the border. The flowing floral and organic styling gives the piece a strong Art Nouveau influence, while the 1945 date places it firmly in the mid-20th century.
