This collection includes four (4) Muffie Dolls (all 7 ½ - 8 inches, sleep eyes with eyebrows, jointed body at neck, shoulders, hips, straight legs), one of which arms are detached (see pictures). Clothing includes underwear for each doll, a formal gown, two (2) nightgowns with matching robes, a lace robe, five (5) sets of pants, eight (8) tops/sweaters, a sundress with matching sun hat, two (2) bathing suits, a skirt, two (2) dresses, a coat with matching hat, a sun jacket with matching hat, a felt skirt, cape and hat set, a bandana, nine (9) hats, nine (9) sets of shoes and boots, two (2) sets of socks, a purse, and miscellaneous shoes and a stocking which are missing their mates. Also included is a doll trunk, with missing drawer as shown in the picture. Seller’s family purchased these items in the 1950s and all was lovingly played with. Clothing is original from the era and is generally in good shape considering age and long storage. A few items have become yellowed with a few small stains. Some items will require a little TLC, such as the formal gown’s lace sleeve has become detached. The coat with matching hat, two of the shirts, and the two dresses include labels proclaiming “Styled by Nancy Ann, San Francisco, California.” This is a great find for anyone looking to start or add to their Muffie Doll collection.
