Vintage 1950s 1960s Red Picnic Sequins Paramount Skirt + Belt Lisa Lang
Lisa Lang was an actress under Paramount with credits including Peter Pan (1955) & Monstrosity (1963).
She also appeared in Producers\' Showcase (1954 -1957) which featured many stars such as Eva Marie Saint, Louis Armstrong, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Frank Sinatra, Ginger Rogers, Audrey Hepburn, & Paul Newman, known as one of the most expensive live shows of the 1950s.
This skirt features a sturdy cotton canvas waistband (no stretch), a fun red & maroon diagonal lattice print, and many hand glued red sequins. It closes with a series of hook and eye clasps + snaps at the side, along with an attached Paramount paper tag with a California zipcode. A beautiful, shiny maroon taffeta lines the interior. A Paramount label is present on the interior with \"Lisa Lang\" handwritten on it. An orange stamp with \"Paramount Pic Inc. Ladies Wadrobe\" is also present on the interior. Matching belt included.

Condition: Overall GOOD-FAIR vintage condition. There is normal age related wear to the skirt including color fading and shedding sequins. The belt is bent and worn. Has cracking on the interior leather.
This garment has not been cleaned nor altered in any way. It does have the scent of an old piece of clothing (which collectors of antique clothing will be very familiar with). It is up to the buyer if they wish to keep the garment the way it is, use for study, or experiment cleaning/restoring (though handle with care due to sequins).
Note: By purchasing, the buyer understands that this is an antique piece of clothing, in as-is condition, that shows signs of age related wear. Being over 70 years old, imperfections are expected, and flaws are clearly detailed both in pictures and in the description as precise as possible by the seller. With this in mind, occasionally there may be additional signs of wear missed by the seller, however, given the antique, as-is condition of the garment, this is not a reason for return.
