Beautiful vintage 1950s Merrimac Merri-Soie hat with exceptional mid-century millinery detail. Crafted in rich moss/olive green with tightly coiled braided construction, this sculptural cloche-style hat features genuine soft mohair trim accented with luminous faux pearls. A dimensional rosette and looped cord detail complete the elegant design. Interior retains the original “Merri-Soie by Merrimac – Patented” label.
Merrimac Hat Company was an American maker operating from 1838–1970, and museum collections document Merrimac hat bodies used by notable milliners.
